Artist Statement:

As a mover, artist, and maker in the dance space, I’m fueled by the people, stories, and experiences around me at all times. I am a firm believer in authenticity and passion being present within the creative process. My movement vocabulary is driven strongly by musicality, fusion of styles, shape-making, and the embodiment of emotions. I value work ethic, artistry, effort, and diversity in my dancing and teaching philosophies. Dancers who perform my work are encouraged to bring their own artistic values and beliefs to their bodies. 

In my dancing I push myself outside my zone of comfortability. I find moments of stillness and breath to be just as powerful as times that are full of energy and dynamics. I see technical ability to come secondary to artistic integrity in my practices. I seek to inspire my audiences with my stories and movement with hope that they will become curious and feel valued.
